Understand your experience
Explore the thoughts, emotions and responses that keep repeating, and the situations in which they become difficult.
A little space.
For all that you carry.
Individual therapy at Happy Lab goes beyond conversations—it’s about deep self-understanding and real change. With expert-led personal counselling and online therapy in India, we use ACT, DBT, EFT and Transactional Analysis to uncover what’s driving your thoughts and behaviours. We help you name it, understand it, and rebuild healthier patterns. You don’t just feel heard—you leave with clarity, confidence, and a path forward.

Individual counselling gives you space to explore what is affecting your thoughts, emotions, relationships or everyday life. You can begin with any of these experiences:
Your mind does not switch off. You replay conversations or worry about what comes next.
You put everyone else first and find it difficult to say no.
You feel stressed, drained or overwhelmed by everyday demands.
A loss, breakup or life change has left you feeling unsettled.
You are hard on yourself and keep questioning whether you are good enough.
You recognise a pattern in your relationships but feel stuck in it.
Trauma or past wounds still feel unresolved.
You feel stuck in a constant loop of comparison.
Individual counselling is a one-to-one conversation with a counsellor about what feels difficult and what you want to work towards. You can bring one concern, several things that feel tangled, or a feeling you cannot yet name. We begin there together.
Explore the thoughts, emotions and responses that keep repeating, and the situations in which they become difficult.
Clarify your needs, values and boundaries, and choose goals that matter in your everyday life.
Practise expressing a need, responding to stress or setting a boundary. Review what helps and adjust the next step with your counsellor.
Your first session is a place to understand what brings you to counselling and what you would like support with. You can ask questions about the approach and discuss what feels comfortable for you.
Share what has been difficult, what has changed recently and what you want your counsellor to understand.
Your counsellor asks about relevant experiences and the concerns you want to work on. Together, you identify a useful starting point.
Talk about the approach, confidentiality and a plan for further sessions. You can review the plan as the work develops.
Explore worry, self-doubt and recurring thoughts to understand what feels difficult.
Explore work pressure, overwhelm and expectations to find a healthier balance.
Explore self-criticism, people-pleasing and boundaries to express your needs more clearly.
Explore feelings around bereavement and loss, making space for your experience.
Explore changes in work, home and identity to understand what comes next.
Explore relationship anxiety, breakups and family pressures to understand recurring patterns.
Explore leadership pressure, personal needs and boundaries without losing your ambition.
Your counsellor works with you to understand what is happening, agree on goals and review how the sessions are helping. Depending on your concerns and your counsellor’s training, the work may draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and skills informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
This might mean noticing an unhelpful thought without getting pulled into it, making room for a difficult feeling, or practising a clearer way to express what you need.
